Every year since August 2010, a group of young people from many different countries of the world have started their apprenticeship at WITRON’s headquarter in Parkstein, Bavaria. In order to integrate yourself as fast as possible and to get familiar with the country and the people, you will participate in intensive German classes and spend the first weeks with a host family. At professional school, you will be supported by your German mentor.

The most important questions and answers about international apprenticeship
Do I have to acquire skills in german on my own?
A basic knowledge of German would be an advantage for sure. However, you will already get an online German course before the start of your training. In the first weeks of your training, you will even have lessons every day. From September on, only 2 - 3 times per week.
Will I get an housing provided by WITRON?
At the beginning of your training, you will usually live with a host family who will help you settle in and familiarize yourself with Germany. After a few weeks, you will move into your own apartment at our main location in Parkstein. WITRON subsidizes the rent for this.
How will I be supported by WITRON?
You will receive a subsidy for your apartment from WITRON in addition to your training allowance. In addition, once a year you will receive an allowance for the flight home paid by WITRON. During your apprenticeship, you will also receive paid German lessons, exam preparation for the final exam as well as tutoring lessons, and you will be assigned a tutor.
Will I get assistance to prepare for entering Germany?
The company WITRON supports you in applying for your work permit as well as in all formalities, e.g. dealing with authorities, opening a bank account and insurances. We will also organize the flight to Germany.
What is the best way to prepare for the training?
It is important that you get to know the company and the occupational profile before the start of your training. In any case, you should already begin to acquire a basic knowledge of German. In addition, it is important that your decision to start training in a foreign country is thought out thoroughly.
When can I apply for the apprenticeship?
You can apply for the apprenticeship every year from September to January. If you submit your application after January, we will not be able to consider it for the current year.
